Job summary

One Harvest is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator in Sydney for a casual Day shift. You will load, unload and move stock, maintain accuracy, and support inventory control in a food logistics environment.

Applicants must hold a current forklift licence, have counterbalance forklift experience, and be able to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse (2–4°C) with weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Hold a current forklift licence (high risk).
• Experience driving counterbalance forklift (high reach advantageous).
• Ability to load/unload trucks and customer vehicles in a Warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Able to work in a temperature-controlled environment between 2–4°C.
• Flexibility to work on the weekend when needed.

Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at One Harvest in Sydney. This is an immediate start position for the Day shift 6am on a casual basis within our Logistics department. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
• Ensuring accurate and timely handling of all incoming and outgoing stock
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Assisting with inventory management by conducting stock counts and reconciliations
• Collaborating with team members to achieve daily targets and deadlines
• Reporting any maintenance or operational issues to the relevant stakeholders

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role and a valid forklift licence are essential requirements for this position.
