Job summary

Harvest Moon in Werribee, Victoria, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse team. You will be part of a small group of Operators and Drivers ensuring timely dispatch of our vegetable product lines to national and international customers.

The ideal candidate has two years’ forklift experience up to 7 tonnes, a current forklift licence/full drivers licence, and a proven ability to work with diverse teams while following instructions and prioritising safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience operating forklift equipment up to 7 tonne.
• Demonstrated competency with forklift operation and safe handling of goods.
• Ability to follow work instructions and maintain accuracy in a busy warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load, unload and move vegetables within the warehouse.
• Assist with picking and packing orders for dispatch to customers.
• Maintain safe and compliant warehouse practices and keep work areas tidy.

Harvest Moon is a proud, long-standing business supplying over 90,000 tonnes of fresh vegetables to national and international customers. We employ up to 450 people in our busy season across 45 different jobs in TAS, VIC, NSW & QLD.

About the role

You will support our Harvest Moon Warehouse team in Werribee - Victoria as a Forklift Operator. You will be part of a small team of experienced, dedicated & friendly Operators & Drivers, who ensure our vegetable product lines are dispatched to customers in a timely manner.

About YOU

You will possesstwo years’ experience and demonstrated competency operating forklift equipment up to 7 tonne.

Ideally you have worked in a similar position picking and packing fresh produce.

You can demonstrate attention to detail & the ability to follow work instructions.

You will be a great communicator who enjoys working effectively with diverse teams to get the job done.

You will be flexible to support our team from 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to use your initiative to action or suggest any improvements or changes, ensuring our work, our processes reman compliant, relevant and at a consistently high standard.

You will hold a currentForklift licence/Full Drivers Licence (with no restrictions).
