Staff Australia is seeking a reliable forklift operator to join our warehouse team in Victoria. You will operate high reach forklifts across ambient, chiller and freezer environments, handling stock movements, replenishment, and inbound/outbound deliveries.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence is required.
• For night shift, MR truck licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate high reach forklifts to unload, store, replenish, and retrieve stock.
• Receive, inspect, and process inbound deliveries and stock movements.
• Replenish pick faces and bulk storage locations; assist with inventory control.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and safe, clean workspace.
• Collaborate with team to ensure on-time order fulfilment and dispatch.

Job description

Our client is a proudly Australian-owned food manufacturing and distribution company, supplying quality products to customers across the retail, foodservice, and wholesale sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for operating high reach forklifts to safely and efficiently move, store, replenish, and retrieve stock within our warehouse. You will also assist with loading and unloading deliveries, completing stock movements accurately, and supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure customer orders are dispatched on time.

Hours:

Day shift - 7:00am - 3:00pm - $36.25 p/hr (working in an ambient environment)

Afternoon Shift - 3:00pm - 11:00pm - $40.60 p/hr (working across an ambient, chiller and freezer environment)

Night Shift - 11:00pm - 6:00am - $47.12 p/hr (working in an ambient environment this is primarily a forklift role but a MR truck license is required to move trucks around the yard)

Key Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operate high reach forklifts to safely unload, store, replenish, and retrieve stock throughout the warehouse.
• Receive and inspect inbound deliveries, ensuring quantities and product quality are accurate.
• Process stock receipts and complete stock movements accurately using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Replenish pick faces and bulk storage locations to support daily warehouse operations and customer order fulfilment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report any stock discrepancies.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure efficient stock flow and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Follow all workplace health and safety, food safety, and quality procedures at all times.

About You:

• To be successful in this opportunity you will possess the following:
• Current LF Forklift Licence and for the night shift role also a MR truck license.
• Proven experience operating high reach forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Previous experience with stock receipting, putaway, replenishment, and inventory control.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with shift requirements.
• Full working rights in Australia with the ability to commit to full time hours Monday to Friday ongoing.
