Job summary

Labour Connect is seeking experienced forklift drivers to operate forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environments across Sydney, NSW. You will move, stack and manage materials, supporting client operations and overall supply chain efficiency.

Essential responsibilities include safe forklift operation, pre-shift checks, loading/unloading, inventory organization, and strict adherence to health and safety standards. Strong reliability and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and valid Forklift Operator License (High Risk Work License) or equivalent
• Proven forklift operation experience in warehouse/logistics
• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and in a team in fast-paced environments
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to move, lift and stack materials and pallets
• Conduct pre-operation checks and routine forklift maintenance
• Load/unload deliveries following health and safety protocols
• Organise and manage warehouse inventory and stock locations
• Follow workplace health and safety regulations and procedures
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors for smooth operations
• Report equipment damage or hazards to management immediately
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required

THE ROLE

Labour Connect is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers across Sydney, NSW.

This is an essential role within the warehousing, storage and distribution sector, where you will operate forklifts to move, stack and manage materials and goods in fast-paced warehouse and logistics environments.

Your work will directly be supporting the efficiency and productivity of our client operations, making a vital contribution to all supply chain success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, lift and stack materials, pallets and goods within warehouse facilities
• Conducting pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles in accordance with health and safety protocols
• Organising and maintaining warehouse inventory and stock locations
• Adhering strictly to workplace health and safety regulations and company procedures
• Communicating effectively with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
• Reporting any equipment damage, hazards or incidents to management immediately
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required to support team objectives

THE ESSENTIALS

• A current and valid Forklift Operator License (High Risk Work License) or equivalent certification for your state
• Proven experience operating forklifts in warehouse or logistics environments
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced warehouse settings
