Job summary

Team Global Express at Dry Creek, SA, is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a full-time, permanent role. You will load and unload trucks, move palletised freight and support daily warehouse operations, with a 1:30pm start from Monday to Friday.

Candidates must hold an LF Forklift Licence and have previous forklift experience in a transport or warehouse setting. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and PPE provided.

About the Role

Team Global Express is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Dry Creek, SA, on a full-time, permanent basis. Working Monday to Friday, commencing at 1:30pm, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, handling freight and supporting daily warehouse operations. We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and confident operating a forklift in a busy transport and logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Handle and move palletised, bulky and general freight.
• Assist with receivals, dispatch and freight sorting.
• Ensure freight is correctly loaded, secured and handled safely.
• Complete freight scanning and basic paperwork as required.
• Identify and report damaged freight.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work closely with the operations team to meet daily targets.

About You

• Current LF Forklift Licence (essential).
• Previous forklift experience in a transport, freight or warehouse environment.
• Experience handling palletised and general freight.
• Confident loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Experience handling oversized or awkward freight would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety and load restraint requirements.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, starting at 1:30pm.
