Job summary

Our client Drake is seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver / Machine Operator to join their manufacturing and warehouse team in Blacktown. The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift, moving materials and finished products, and assisting with machine operation and general factory duties.

Working Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm, you will help with loading/unloading, positioning sheets, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace while adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Current forklift licence (LF) is required.
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience is essential.
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
• Physically fit and able to lift 20–25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials, products and finished goods.
• Load and unload products from machines, pallets and production areas.
• Move and position fibre cement sheets and forms.
• Assist with machine operation and production processes.
• Feed and remove materials from machinery as required.
• Perform manual handling of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure products are correctly positioned and stored.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Job description

Our client is a leading manufacturer of fibre cement products and systems for residential and commercial building applications. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver / Machine Operator to join their manufacturing and warehouse team based in Blacktown.

This is a versatile role where you will operate a counterbalance forklift, move materials and finished products, and assist with machine operation and general factory duties. The role involves manual handling and occasional heavy lifting and is Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be working across both the warehouse and manufacturing areas, with duties include:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials, products and finished goods
