Job summary

Symmetry Human Resources' client in Brendale, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for an ongoing role within a major Australian manufacturing organisation. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, move finished goods between production and warehouse, and assist with loading/unloading trucks.

The role is Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm with an immediate start. Applicants must hold a current LF forklift licence, a valid driver's licence, and full working rights

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Current LF Forklift Licence.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, safety-focused and willing to be hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift, making up approximately 80% of the role.
• Transport finished goods from production areas to the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Assist with general warehouse and labouring duties, approximately 20% of the role.
• Work across both production and warehouse environments.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.

Our valued client, based inBrendale, is a leading manufacturing facility specialising in rigid plastic packaging solutions. As part of a major Australian organisation committed to supporting the circular economy, the site supplies packaging solutions to a range of industries, including food, dairy, beverage and personal care. We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift, making up approximately80% of the role
