Job summary

Davina Homes is seeking an experienced Foreman / Site Manager to lead luxury residential construction projects from Drummoyne, Sydney. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure delivery to Davina Homes’ high standards of architectural quality and finish.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in luxury residential builds, strong leadership, and a solid carpentry background.

Responsibilities

The opportunity

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of prestige projects, we are seeking an experienced and driven Foreman / Site Manager to join our team. You will be the heartbeat of the site, the person who keeps everything moving, maintains the standard, and ensures that every client's home is delivered to the extraordinary level Davina Homes is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Site leadership & operations

• Oversee all day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are executed to the highest standard of quality and precision.
• Set the tone on site — lead by example and maintain a culture of excellence, professionalism, and care.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, identify defects early, and implement corrective action before issues escalated.
• Manage site setup, access, and logistics to enable efficient, safe, and productive operations at all times.

Subcontractor & trade coordination

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery across all disciplines.
• Sequence trades effectively to maintain programme and avoid downtime or conflicts on site.
• Build strong, respectful working relationships with subcontractors to get the best out of them on every job.
• Assess subcontractor performance and provide timely feedback to management.

Programme & schedule management

• Manage and update the construction programme, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are clearly understood and actively tracked.
• Identify risks to programme early and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager to report on progress, flag concerns, and align on priorities.
• Drive accountability across all site personnel to ensure commitments are met and delays minimised.

Quality & architectural compliance

• Ensure all works are completed strictly in accordance with architectural drawings, engineering documents, and specifications.
• Maintain an exceptional standard of finish across all areas of the build — from structural to fine detail.
• Manage RFIs and design queries in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary delays.
• Coordinate with architects and consultants during site visits and inspections to address design and quality matters.

WHS & compliance

• Enforce a strict WHS culture across all site activities — safety is non-negotiable at Davina Homes.
• Conduct site inductions for all workers and visitors prior to commencing on site.
• Lead regular toolbox talks and safety briefings to ensure all personnel are informed
• and vigilant.
• Ensure compliance with the site Safety Management Plan, SWMS, and all relevant legislation and standards.
• Maintain accurate site records including daily logs, incident reports, and inspection checklists.

About you

• Proven experience as a Foreman or Site Manager delivering high-end residential projects, you know what "luxury residential projects" really means on site.
• Deep understanding of architectural detailing, complex construction methodologies, and high-quality finishes.
• A natural leader who commands respect on site and communicates with confidence across all levels.
• Exceptionally organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• A proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues and acts decisively when they arise.
• Trade background (carpentry) highly regarded, along with formal site manager experience.
• Current White Card and valid driver's licence are essential.
