Job summary

Tier 2 builder on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Site Foreman who specializes in structural packages to lead the team from excavation and concrete through to completion of a 7-storey commercial development in Southport.

You will drive daily site operations, manage subbies, enforce strict safety standards, and ensure the build stays on program and meets quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Foreman on commercial builds in the $20M-$50M+ range.
• Deep technical knowledge of structural packages and multi-storey concrete builds.
• Strong communication and leadership skills—able to motivate subbies and site personnel positively.
• Carpentry trade background or relevant structural qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Structural Leadership: Lead and oversee all structural elements of the 7-storey build (excavation, concrete, formwork, steel, and suspended slabs).
• Site Operations: Manage daily trade coordination, site deliveries, short-term lookahead programming, and site logistics in a busy town-center precinct.
• Quality & Safety: Maintain high-standard HSEQ compliance, driving a proactive safety culture on site.
• Trade Management: Keep subcontractors accountable to quality, timeline, and scope while maintaining strong working relationships.

We have been awarded a $35M, 7-storey commercial development in the heart of Southport. We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman who excels in structural packages to lead the site team through the early stages and concrete structure right through to completion.
