Job summary

Bakers Maison Australia is recruiting a Business Development Manager – Foodservice (QLD) to drive growth across Brisbane Metro, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and NSW Northern Rivers. This role reports to the National Business Manager and focuses on expanding our Food Service presence with distributors and end-users.

We seek a proactive self-starter with a passion for sales and relationships, capable of building pipelines, delivering compelling product proposals, and achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in business development, territory sales, or account management roles.
• Experience managing distributor networks and strategic customer accounts.
• Current unrestricted driver’s license and ability to travel interstate for meetings & events.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across the allocated territory.
• Develop and implement territory growth plans to increase market share and sales performance.
• Build strong pipelines of prospective customers and convert opportunities into sustainable business outcomes.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs to identify commercial opportunities.
• Support the achievement of sales budgets, revenue targets, and profitability objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, foodservice operators, and end-user accounts.
• Drive strategic account growth through joint business planning and collaborative customer engagement.
• Execute structured territory call cycles and customer visitation plans to maintain strong market coverage.
• Deliver professional product presentations, demonstrations, and sales proposals to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities, and opportunity pipelines within the CRM system.
