Job summary

Cézan Pty Ltd, located in the Hunter Valley, seeks a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our service team across Cézan, the Cellar Door, catering, weddings and events. This hands-on role combines floor leadership, guest hosting and stock management in a vibrant estate setting.

You'll oversee reservations, rosters, bar stock and wedding orders, working closely with Owners, chefs and the Wedding Coordinator to deliver a consistent guest experience across all venues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hospitality supervisory experience.
• Strong organisation and guest-hosting skills.
• Experience with stock control, rostering and ordering.
• NSW RSA and food handler certification before commencing.

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare dining areas, tasting spaces, bar and POS for service.
• Host guests, manage reservations and seating, oversee bookings.
• Lead daily team briefings, allocate roles and support staff during service.
• Coordinate with kitchen on timing, dietary requirements and guest requests.
• Deliver and oversee food, beverage and wine tasting service.
• Drive wine sales and Wine Club memberships through tastings and guest engagement.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor inventory and complete weekly stocktakes across drinks and supplies.
• Coordinate ordering with kitchen and suppliers to minimise waste.
• Keep venues clean, stocked and well-presented; complete checklists and close procedures.
• Organise staffing requirements and rosters, recruit casual staff as needed.
• Prepare staff rosters four weeks in advance aligned with reservations and events.
