Job summary

Balgownie Estate is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations of food and beverage and event coordination services, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high standards of service within our cellar door, dining and event spaces.

The role requires leadership, customer service, and operational skills, plus a minimum of one year of supervisory experience and current RSA and Food Safety certificates.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in fine dining, hotels, wineries or event facilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills focused on guest experience and professionalism.
• Ability to communicate changes to menus and policies to staff.
• Strong adherence to service standards and brand knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team during service periods.
• Assist with training as required.
• Distribute information about menu changes, management instructions, and policy updates; brief staff as needed.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
