About the role

Join the dynamic team as the Food & Beverage Manager. This exciting, full-time role is based in Kingscote, Kangaroo Island, South Australia, one of Australia's key attractions. You will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate all food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar and conference facilities.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability
• Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of the food and beverage team
• Manage budgets and inventory to control costs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement new ideas to enhance the guest experience
• Collaborate with the wider hotel management team to deliver a cohesive hospitality experience
• Hands on leadership and active involvement in the day-to-side operation of the department

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience (2+ years) in a similar food and beverage management role within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
