Job summary

Hannah St Hotel in Melbourne seeks a Food & Beverage Duty Manager to lead daily operations across multiple luxury outlets. You will guide service delivery, coach high-performing teams and ensure guest experiences meet the hotel’s premium standards.

You will collaborate with the F&B leadership team to maintain operational excellence, manage rostering and ensure food safety, liquor compliance and WHS across venues.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a hotel, restaurant or premium hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams.
• Exceptional communication and guest engagement skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Current RSA certification.
• Flexible roster availability including evenings and weekends.

About the Role:

As Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operation of our diverse food and beverage venues. Working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team, you will lead service delivery, inspire team performance and ensure every guest experience reflects the high standards of Hannah St Hotel.

Operating across multiple outlets, you will be hands-on, visible and proactive in creating seamless service while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily Food & Beverage operations across multiple hotel outletsDrive exceptional guest experiences through attentive and personalised service
• Coach, mentor and motivate team members to deliver luxury hospitality standards
• Support rostering, labour management and operational planning
• Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor licensing and workplace health and safety requirements
• Manage guest feedback and resolve service challenges professionally and efficiently
• Monitor venue presentation, service quality and operational consistency
• Assist with stock control, ordering and cost management initiatives
• Collaborate with kitchen and hotel departments to deliver seamless guest experiences

About You:

You are a confident hospitality leader who leads by example and enjoys being part of a busy, guest-focused environment.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Previous leadership experience in a hotel, restaurant or premium hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teamsExceptional communication and guest engagement skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays
• DesirableExperience within luxury hotels or premium dining venuesMulti-outlet operational experience
• Knowledge of hotel operating systems and point-of-sale platforms
