The Q Dining in Phillip ACT is seeking an experienced FOH Manager to lead the front-of-house team and oversee daily restaurant operations in a formal dining setting. You will drive exceptional service, manage reservations and staff rosters, train and mentor FOH staff, and collaborate closely with the kitchen to deliver a seamless guest experience while maintaining high presentation standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and cost awareness, with responsibilities

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Restaurant/FoH Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Experience in formal or fine dining environments.
• Strong leadership, people-management, and exceptional communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the FOH team during service.
• Train, mentor and develop FOH staff.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.
• Manage reservations, table allocations and guest inquiries.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues.
• Prepare and manage staff rosters.
• Monitor labour costs and assist with wage control.
• Collaborate with Head Chef to ensure smooth service and boost sales.
• Maintain communication between FOH and BOH.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures.
• Oversee beverage stock and inventory.
• Maintain presentation, cleanliness and service standards throughout the venue.
• Support functions, events and promotions.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales, service and repeat business.
• Create a positive, professional and accountable team culture.
