Job summary

Water's Edge Canberra seeks an experienced front-of-house leader to oversee lunch, dinner, and function service. You will train and roster a small FOH team, maintain high standards on every shift, and manage guest flow from bookings to seating.

You will own guest experiences, handle complaints and online reviews, and coordinate with the kitchen on timing, menus and specials. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisor or manager role in fine dining or premium hospitality.
• Current ACT RSA.
• Available weekends, evenings and public holidays.
• Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Run front-of-house service across lunch, dinner and functions.
• Lead, train and roster the FOH team of about 6, and hold standards on every shift.
• Handle reservations and guest flow through OpenTable, including dome and function allocation.
• Own guest experience, complaints and online reviews.
• Handle cash-up, end-of-day reporting and basic labour/sales tracking.
• Coordinate with the kitchen on service timing, menus and specials.
• Support functions and events from enquiry through to the night itself.
