Bega Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Reliability Team at our Wetherill Park site in Sydney. You will drive packaging equipment direction, lead improvement projects, and collaborate with maintenance and production to enable data-driven decisions for efficient operations.

Reporting to the site leader, you will champion continuous improvement, support HACCP and safety plans, and mentor staff while delivering capital and NPD projects aligned with industry best practices.

Formación

• Experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
• Demonstrated experience in project and change management.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver site engineering, capital, and NPD projects with safety, cost, quality, and benefits.
• Identify and provide solutions for process improvement opportunities.
• Mentor and provide technical expertise to maintenance and production staff.
• Lead and support continuous improvement and ad-hoc projects.
• Support and assist in development of HACCP, Safety, and Environmental plans.
