Tooheys Brewery in Lidcombe is seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist (Machine Specialist - Asset Care) to join our Packaging Engineering team. Qualifications

• Dual trade qualification (Mechanical and Electrical) or Electrical Fitter experience.
• Maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (FMCG/beverage/packaging).
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills across equipment.
• Proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving in hands-on roles.
• Ability to work independently and with production/engineering teams.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, equipment overhauls and continuous improvement on high-speed packaging machinery.
• Provide specialist mechanical maintenance support with some electrical work.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime and optimise performance.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues with practical problem-solving.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to deliver sustainable improvements.
• Support and supervise external contractors on specialist maintenance activities.
• Champion a safety-first culture across the brewery.
