Job summary

Homely Flooring Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a motivated and hands-on Project Coordinator to manage flooring projects from initial measure and quotation to final completion. You will work with tradespeople, subcontractors, and customers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality workmanship.

On non-site days you will support showroom operations, handle inquiries, prepare quotes, and follow up leads. Standard hours are 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with potential early starts or after-hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction or flooring industry is a must
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and problem-solve on the go
• A keen eye for detail and quality
• Valid driver's licence
• Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)

We are a family-owned and operated importing flooring business with extensive experience in construction, specialising in the supply of high-quality flooring products. Our commitment to providing exceptional customer service is at the forefront of our business. We are based in Brendale in the industrial estate.

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Project Coordinator to join our team full-time. In this role, you will take ownership of flooring projects from initial measure and quote to final completion. You will work closely with our tradesmen, subcontractors, and customers to ensure every job runs smoothly and to a high standard. When not on-site, you will support our showroom team by assisting with customer service, answering phone calls, preparing quotes, and following up on leads.

Responsibilities:

Conduct onsite measure-ups and prepare quotes

Manage project timelines and oversee all aspects from start to finish

Coordinate tradesmen and subcontractors with an emphasis on consistency and quality

Handle customer communication and follow-ups

Provide showroom support and product advice

Ensure project completion to customer satisfaction

Standard working hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. As a Project Coordinator, you may be required to start earlier or stay later to do afternoon measure ups, address site issues, or meet project deadlines. This role is based on outcomes and responsibility rather than strict hourly tracking.
