Job summary

Qantas Airways Limited is seeking a Coordinator Training Scheduling, Flight Crew in Mascot for a 24-month fixed-term, full-time role. You will schedule Flight Crew training to meet program requirements within Workforce Planning and ensure CASA compliance and company policy.

Key duties include replan and optimise training schedules, manage disruptions, produce rosters, and maintain efficient training patterns that support current operations.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Aviation, Business or Logistics related field (desirable).
• Strong organisation skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft products.
• Experience with Flight Crew training systems (e.g. Jeppesen, ARMS desirable).
• Knowledge of the Australian Industrial framework, Company Policy and CASA regulations (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Replan, monitor and amend Flight Crew training schedules and associated logistics to achieve optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage training disruption by developing practical and effective recovery plans for each roster period.
• Produce rosters that deliver the business training program.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory and industrial award obligations.
• Develop an optimised rostering process that meets the needs of all key stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain efficient training patterns to support the current operational rosters in both the planned and operational environment.
