Job summary

Penske Australia is seeking an experienced Systems and Configuration Lead to join the Defence Programmes Group in Sydney. You will lead configuration implementation, systems analysis and system improvements across Windchill, AMT and in-house apps, ensuring compliance with Defence requirements.

You will manage a small team, engage with stakeholders and drive process improvements while supporting delivery of Defence programme objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience or formal training in Configuration Management and/or Systems Analysis.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Experience with Windchill is highly regarded.
• Proven track record of leading or contributing to a team delivering outcomes.
• Experience in process mapping, business and functional documentation, system testing, releases, integrations and system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and systems analysis activities to ensure compliance with Defence contract requirements and applicable standards.
• Maintain configuration and business data, including equipment build standards, baselines and records.
• Assess and implement additional platforms within existing software solutions supporting Defence contracts.
• Manage and improve Windchill, AMT and other business applications to streamline workflows.
• Coordinate development, integrations, testing, releases and implementation with IT developers and SMEs.
• Act as a key Windchill/AMT super user supporting users and resolving issues.
• Align system functionality, data and reporting with Commonwealth and Defence requirements.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Lead, coach and support team members to high performance.
• Map, review and improve business processes and system workflows with DPG managers.
