Job summary

Penske Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced Systems and Configuration Lead to join the Defence Programmes Group at Kings Park. You will oversee configuration management, systems analysis and delivery of defence contracts.

You will lead Windchill/AMT implementations, collaborate with IT, vendors and users, and mentor a small team to improve processes and outputs. Australian citizenship and clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience or formal training in Configuration Management and/or Systems Analysis.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
• Experience leading teams and delivering system improvements.
• Ability to obtain Australian Defence security clearance; Australian citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and systems analysis to ensure compliance with Defence standards.
• Maintain configuration data including baselines and records.
• Assess and implement additional platforms within existing software solutions.
• Manage Windchill, AMT, and other business applications to improve workflows.
• Coordinate development, testing, releases, and implementation with IT and SMEs.
• Act as a Windchill and AMT super user supporting users.
• Align system functionality and reporting with Commonwealth and Defence requirements.
• Lead, coach and support team members.
• Map and improve business processes and workflows with DPG managers.
• Contribute to DPG business development opportunities.
