Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a Configuration & Data Management leader to drive CDM across Maritime Programs. You will govern data, baselines and documentation, while guiding teams in Windchill and PLM practices, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

You will mentor staff, contribute to audits and drive continuous improvement in digital engineering and data integrity within a dynamic Defence environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Configuration Management, Data Management, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) within Defence, Aerospace or complex engineering environments.
• Experience managing engineering data, documentation and configuration items within a PDM/PLM environment.
• Proficiency with enterprise collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint) and reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Lead CDM activities in line with program, customer and contractual requirements.
• Provide governance, technical leadership and oversight across the program.
• Develop and maintain Configuration Management plans, baselines and related documentation.
• Implement CDM solutions to improve digital engineering outcomes and reduce transactional effort.
• Manage engineering data, drawings, models and configuration items within Windchill and related tools.
• Ensure configuration items are controlled within approved baselines.
• Coordinate configuration activities across multiple teams.
• Support change control and status accounting through the program lifecycle.
• Facilitate customer engagements, PCAs and FCAs and other assurance activities.
• Ensure compliance with export controls and security/classification requirements while producing reports.
