Job summary

ASC is Australia's submarine company seeking a seasoned Configuration Manager to govern multi-class sustainment programs. You will lead a CM team, drive baselines, ensure compliance and deliver high-quality CM products and reports to support engineering outcomes.

Based in Perth, WA or Adelaide, SA with occasional travel. You will partner with Engineering Leads and stakeholders to manage change boards, audits and continuous improvement in a highly regulated defence environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Configuration Management within Defence or highly regulated environments.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams in CM.
• Advanced knowledge of CM methodologies and governance (e.g., EIA-649).

Responsibilities

• Drive development, maintenance and governance of configuration baselines across ASC programs.
• Lead, coach and develop the Configuration Management team, driving capability and engagement.
• Deliver high-quality CM products, services and reporting to support engineering and business outcomes.
• Support Engineering Leads to meet contractual, compliance and program requirements.
• Coordinate Configuration Change Boards and Engineering Review Boards while driving audits and continuous improvement.
