Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is recruiting a Care Worker to support older Australians at home. This permanent part-time role requires availability across at least three weekdays, including Mondays and Fridays, with day shifts typically 8am to 5pm and occasional late coverage to 6pm.

You will travel between client locations across Sydney and surrounds, delivering practical help and companionship to enable safe, independent living at home. A caring, patient, and communicative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to travel between multiple client locations within the service area.
• Strong communication, resilience and patience when supporting clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily tasks: cleaning, showering, dressing and meals.
• Provide continence support and medication assistance where needed.
• Transport clients between locations and support independent living at home.
• Build meaningful relationships to enhance client safety and independence.
