Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking a Care Worker to support older Australians at home across the Perth metro area. You will travel between client locations, assisting with daily activities and living tasks to promote independence in the comfort of clients' homes.

We offer a supportive team, orientation, and opportunities for professional development with salary packaging and enhanced benefits. Up to 30 hours per fortnight with early morning and late shifts available.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Australian Driver Licence required.
• Reliable vehicle with Third-Party Property Damage insurance.
• Strong communication skills with resilience and patience.
• Proficient in using smartphone apps and email.

Responsibilities

• Support clients across Perth Metro and surrounds and travel between client locations.
• Assist with household tasks: cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, and transport.
• Develop genuine connections with clients to support independent living at home.
