Job summary

Sisters in the City is seeking Disability Support Workers for Brisbane-based roles with immediate-start shifts across multiple regions. You will provide person-centred in-home and community support to NDIS participants, focusing on safety, dignity and independence.

Role involves one-on-one support, collaboration with families and allied health teams, and participant-focused documentation. Flexible rosters, ongoing development, and a supportive, inclusive workplace are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support preferred but not essential.
• Must have current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised support to NDIS participants in homes and community.
• Assist with personal care, meal prep, medication prompting and transport.
• Record progress notes and communicate with families and health professionals.
• Work collaboratively to build participant independence and outcomes.
