Support Services Queensland in Brisbane is seeking reliable, compassionate and flexible Support Workers to join our team. Roles involve 24/7 care across Moreton Bay, Redlands and Logan with in-house mornings/afternoons and a casual pool for ad hoc shifts.

You’ll provide person-centred care, assist with personal care and mobility, support transport to community activities, and work well in a team or independently.

Qualificações

• NDIS worker screening or ability to obtain
• Blue Card / Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
• Current First Aid and CPR or ability to obtain
• Manual handling experience preferred
• QLD driver's licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance

Responsabilidades

• Plan engaging community access activities including transport

We are seeking reliable, compassionate and flexible Support Workers to join our team, with hours available across Moreton Bay, Redlands and Logan regions.

Hours

SIL: We Provide 24/7 care with morning, afternoon and overnight (active and inactive) shifts

In-house Support: Mornings and afternoons that can fit your schedule

Casual Pool: Pick up shifts and hours as they suit you, perfect for students and Christmas casuals.

The Role

Day to day will vary based on the participant supported.

Support workers with the following skills will excel in this position:

Prioritise Person-centered Practice that facilitates Choice and Control

Comfortable with Personal Care, Medical Administration and Manual Handling

Love planning engaging Community Access opportunities (including Transportation)

Communicate well and work effectively in a team or independently

Are reliable, compassionate and proactive in your approach

NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)

or ability to obtain

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

NDIS Worker Orientation Modules

(or ability to obtain prior to start)

Current First Aid and CPR

(or ability to obtain prior to start)

Manual Handling & Hoisting experience

(preferred)

Queensland driver's licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance

Great availability OR a willingness to pick up ad hoc shifts

Certificate III/IV in Aged, Community or Disability Care Preferred
