Job summary

All Abilities Support and Wellbeing0 in Kedron QLD is hiring a Disability Support Worker to assist NDIS participants in achieving goals, independence, and community participation across North Brisbane and Moreton Bay.

You will deliver person-centred care, help with daily living activities, transport when needed, and document care in line with NDIS requirements. Casual role with 30+ hours weekly and penalty rates for evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent with at least 2 years paid disability support experience
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Full Australian driver’s licence with clean driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist with manual handling and light lifting
• Availability to work 30+ hours

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support tailored to each participant's goals
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal prep, and household tasks
• Support community access and social participation activities
• Implement behaviour support plans and therapeutic programs as required
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per NDIS requirements
• Transport participants to appointments and activities (where applicable)
• Collaborate with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure participant safety and wellbeing at all times
