Job summary

Intense Support Care in Queensland is seeking compassionate and motivated Disability Support Workers to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

The role includes personal care, supporting community access, and promoting independence. Applicants should have relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support and certifications in First Aid and CPR. Qualifications

• Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
• Current CPR Certificate (HLTAID009).
• Current Australian Driver's Licence with reliable vehicle preferred.
• Current Blue Card for Working with Children Check – QLD.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
• Support community access and social participation.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Promote independence and skill development.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Deliver person-centred supports in accordance with NDIS standards.
