Busways seeks a Workshop Supervisor at our Willoughby depot to lead a skilled team in the daily maintenance of our fleet, ensuring safety, reliability and high performance. You will drive rostering, resource allocation, and hands-on supervision, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

You will mentor apprentices, uphold WHS standards, and coordinate with the Regional Workshop Manager to meet contract obligations. Ongoing training including in-house leadership courses is provided.

Competenze

• Minimum 3–5 years working as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic.
• Mentor apprentices and lead the workshop team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

Mansioni

• Coordinate rosters and leave planning to support depot maintenance.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise supply and warranty activities; monitor inventory.
• Manage daily workshop operations and supervise staff and contractors.
• Allocate resources for scheduled maintenance and heavy vehicle inspections.
• Ensure WHS compliance and keep workshop clean and safe.
• Train apprentices and ensure staff have required capabilities.
