Job summary

Australia Post’s StarTrack Dandenong is seeking a Fleet Operations Supervisor to lead a 30-strong driver team and contractor network on an AM shift from 6.00am. You’ll drive efficiency improvements and cost controls while delivering service excellence for a busy parcel facility.

You’ll analyse performance, develop improvement plans, and report findings to the Duty Manager, fostering safety, collaboration and proactive, data-driven decision making within the local fleet space.

Qualifications

• Experience in Logistics / Fleet is essential.
• Strong communication and safety focus.
• Ability to coach and mentor teams to perform at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 30 drivers (StarTrack and contractor) to meet budget and performance targets.
• Drive continuous improvement of fleet operations by analyzing current performance and developing action plans with the Duty Manager.
• Develop reports with statistical data and conduct trend analysis to support proactive improvement activities.
• Present analytical findings on service, compliance and operational constraints to the Duty Manager.
