Job summary

Silk Logistics is seeking a Fleet Controller to join the Landside Logistics team at our Yennora site in NSW. You’ll coordinate daily transport operations, allocate vehicles and drivers, and ensure safe, timely deliveries while collaborating with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fleet control, transport coordination, or a similar logistics role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with drivers and stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to changing operational requirements.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and transport management systems.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility requirements and transport safety regulations.

Job description

We are currently seeking a Fleet Controller to join our Landside Logistics team, based at our Yennora site in NSW. In this role, you will coordinate daily transport operations, manage vehicle and driver allocations, and ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. You will work closely with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to support service delivery and resolve operational challenges.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday on the afternoon shift.

Key Accountabilities

Coordinate daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, driver allocations, and delivery planning.

Monitor transport activities to ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to communicate schedules and resolve operational issues.
