Job summary

Maddalon Earthmoving Services is seeking a Fleet Allocator to join the Operations team in Werribee, Melbourne VIC. You will coordinate bookings, allocate trucks and plant, and work closely with Sales, Customers, Accounts, and Workshop to keep information flowing across the business.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a proactive approach to improving the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a fleet allocator, transport coordinator, bookings coordinator or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Receive and coordinate bookings by phone and email from our Sales team and Customers.
• Allocate trucks and plant using our in-house system.
• Confirm rates with the Sales team, customers and management to ensure bookings are accurate.
• Receive maintenance reports from fleet drivers and assist the Workshop and Fleet Managers with coordinating breakdown responses.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer and subcontractor enquiries by phone and email.
• Look for practical ways to continually improve the customer experience.
• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while staying organised and keeping priorities on track.
