Job summary

CGC Recruitment partners with a well-established transport and logistics business in Henderson, WA, seeking an experienced Transport Allocator to oversee the daily operations of a busy side loader fleet serving the Perth metropolitan area.

You will allocate and coordinate a fleet of side loader trucks and drivers, plan daily schedules to maximise efficiency, liaise with customers and drivers, monitor performance, and ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Transport Allocator, Fleet Allocator or Transport Scheduler.
• Experience with container transport, wharf logistics or side loader operations is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of the Perth metro area geography.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and coordinate a fleet of side loader trucks and drivers.
• Plan daily transport schedules to maximise fleet efficiency.
• Liaise with customers, drivers and operations to manage changing priorities.
• Monitor delivery performance and respond to operational issues.
• Coordinate container collections, deliveries and de-hires.
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and transport legislation.
• Maintain accurate transport documentation and scheduling systems.
• Build strong working relationships with drivers and customers.
