Job summary

Busy Bees at Wellard is seeking a passionate Lead Educator for a fixed-term, full-time role. You will lead the daily learning program in your room, supporting educators and ensuring a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent, plus current First Aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certifications, and WWCC (VIC). Experience leading a room and strong EYLF/NQS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ACECQA-equivalent required.
• Current Working with Children Check (VIC) mandatory.
• First Aid, CPR, and asthma/anaphylaxis certifications required.
• Demonstrated experience leading a room in an early learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with EYLF.
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with NQF and centre policies; support development and wellbeing.
