Job summary

Busy Bees Beeliar Village is looking for a passionate Lead Educator to guide daily learning at 8 Durnin Ave, Beeliar, WA on a full-time basis. You will lead the room’s educational program, support educators, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment for children.

Requirements include a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), current First Aid/CPR, WWVP, and experience leading a room.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
• WWVP / Working with Children Check for WA
• Experience leading a room within an early learning environment
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
• Support children’s development, wellbeing and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences
