Busy Bees is seeking a passionate Lead Educator for a fixed-term 6-month position in Lara, VIC. You will lead the daily learning program, mentor educators, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for children. The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-equivalent), current First Aid, CPR, and a Working with Children Check for VIC.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and allergy/asthma/anaphylaxis training.
• Working with Children Check for VIC is mandatory.
• Experience leading a room within an early learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program (EYLF).
• Inspire and mentor educators in your room.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with NQF and centre policies.
• Support children's development and wellbeing through play-based learning.
