Origin Group (QLD) Pty Ltd is seeking a Fitter & Turner Apprentice to join our team. The role covers local work around the Mackay region, with a mix of workshop and site assignments at Sugar Mills, Fuel Terminals, and our Paget workshop.

We offer immediate start, ongoing work, and a clear pathway to a permanent role after a 3-month probation for the right candidate. An attractive hourly rate with penalties based on experience is available, with weekly pay and a focus on safety and quality.

Origin Group (QLD) Pty Ltd is currently seeking a suitable Fitter & Turner Apprentice to join our Team. We are looking for someone who is interested in working locally around the Mackay region. We have a combination of workshop and local site work available. This includes work at the Sugar Mills, Fuel Terminals, and our Workshop located in Paget.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Completed Year 10 Education (minimum)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time management and punctuality
• Strong safety awareness
• Excellent attention to detail
• Keen customer service focus
• Clean and tidy work manner

• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport

Origin Group is a Mackay Local Engineering Company that specialise in Fabrication, Engineering, Mechanical Installation and Mechanical repairs to the Mining, Sugar, Petro-chemical, Agricultural and Construction industries. Due to customer demand and required services we have recently upgraded to a new facility designed to enable us to increase the scale of projects and size of fabrications we can offer.
