Job summary

BFP Engineering in Narangba, QLD, is seeking experienced trade-qualified Fitter and Turners to join our team. The role involves installing hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, pipes and hoses on road-making equipment.

Additional duties include mounting pneumatic solenoid enclosures, pipework, and fitting wheel guards and tool boxes. Ongoing full-time work with standard hours and overtime available. Family-based work culture.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified fitter and turner with relevant workshop experience.
• Experience with hydraulic systems is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and operate in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Install hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, pipes and hoses.
• Install pneumatic solenoid enclosures and inter-connecting pipework.
• Fit wheel guards, tool boxes, hose trays, etc.

Job description

At BFP Engineering, we are proud to be one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of Road Making, Road Maintenance and Transport vehicles for Bitumen, Emulsion and Stone Spreading products. We are currently seeking experienced & motivated trade qualified Fitter and Turners to join our team located at Narangba. Multiple positions available due to product demand.

Duties include Installation of hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, pipes and hoses. Installation of pneumatic solenoid enclosures and inter-connecting pipework. Fitting of wheel guards, tool boxes, hose trays etc. Experience in the use of manual lathe and vertical mill machine highly advantageous.
