Wormald is seeking an Operational Account Manager based in Sydney to lead and coordinate service operations for a major client. You will manage a team of technicians, ensure safety and service standards, and drive customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes strong relationship management, proactive issue resolution, and practical scheduling to support a national fire protection leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales/account management, preferably in fire protection/service.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and support technicians in daily tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong scheduling, planning and prioritisation capabilities.
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety responsibilities and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of technicians to ensure high-quality completion of tasks.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, driving productivity and service delivery.
• Ensure safety compliance with WHS policies and KPI requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and field leadership activities to maintain standards.
• Maintain regular communication with client representatives and stakeholders.
• Identify issues and implement improvements to optimize operations.
• Schedule technicians and manage administrative duties as required.
