Job summary

Wormald in Queensland is seeking an Account Manager to nurture client relationships and ensure seamless delivery of fire safety solutions.

You will leverage knowledge of Queensland Fire Legislation to guide clients, identify upsell opportunities, and coordinate with the sales team to grow revenue while maintaining service quality.

Qualifications

As an Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing client relationships while ensuring the seamless delivery of fire safety solutions. Your deep understanding of Queensland fire legislation will be essential in guiding clients through compliance requirements and offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all fire safety needs.

Understand and navigate Queensland fire legislation, providing expert guidance to clients and internal teams.

Manage service contracts effectively, including overseeing contract KPIs, ensuring service delivery meets expectations, and resolving disputes promptly.

Demonstrate commercial acumen in identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals.

Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and contribute to overall revenue growth.

Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve service offerings and client satisfaction.

About you

Knowledge of Queensland Fire Legislation and regulations – AS1851:2012 and QDC MP6.1 especially.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.

Experience in managing service contracts, including familiarity with contract KPIs, service delivery, and dispute resolution.

Commercial acumen and a results-oriented mindset, with a track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex situations and resolve issues effectively.

A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
