Job summary

Swyftx is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support day-to-day activities of the Compliance team, helping the business meet its obligations while improving processes. You’ll review marketing materials, maintain compliance registers and support advise requests in a collaborative environment.

This role can be based at our Brisbane headquarters in Milton or our Melbourne office in Cremorne. We offer hybrid working, with two days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in compliance within financial services.
• Understanding of Australian financial services regulation and AFSL obligations.
• Experience reviewing marketing materials for compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships across the business.
• Practical, risk-based approach and sound judgement.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience in compliance advisory, monitoring or policy drafting highly regarded.
• Interest in cryptocurrency and digital assets welcome.

Responsibilities

• Review marketing materials and customer communications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support day-to-day compliance inquiries and provide practical guidance to colleagues.
• Maintain compliance registers, including obligations and conflicts of interest, and support licence administration.
• Assist with compliance monitoring, assurance activities, documenting findings and tracking actions.
• Support updates to policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
• Assist with regulatory changes, audits and compliance initiatives by gathering information and maintaining records.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve efficiency of the team.
