Swyftx is seeking a strategic and adaptable Legal Counsel to join its legal team in Sydney, Australia, under a flexible hybrid working model. You will guide product innovation, negotiate technology contracts, and provide pragmatic legal advice to enable business objectives.

You will engage with cross-functional teams, manage regulatory considerations across Australian financial services, privacy, AML/CTF, and consumer protection, and help shape governance frameworks.

Formación

• Post-qualification experience (2–5 years) in commercial law or in-house team.
• Proven track record drafting and negotiating commercial/technology contracts.
• Familiarity with Australian financial services, privacy, AML/CTF, and consumer protection is valued.
• Strong commercial judgment and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, focusing on technology contracts.
• Provide practical legal advice on product, marketing, and regulatory matters.
• Identify legal risks in projects and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage relationships with external counsel, regulators, and counterparties.
• Support internal processes, templates, and governance.
