Job summary

Allura Partners is seeking a Production Support Engineer to protect a fintech platform in Sydney. The role blends application and IT support, ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience who wants growth and ownership from day one.

You'll work in a hybrid Sydney setup supporting Windows/M365, monitor with Datadog and Snowflake, and triage incidents using SQL. A proactive mindset and SaaS/Fintech exposure are valued assets.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in application/production AND IT support.
• Confident writing SQL queries to investigate incidents.
• Windows and Microsoft 365 support experience.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic or Splunk.
• SAAS/Fintech experience is preferable.
• Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
• Salesforce, Snowflake, scripting (Python, PowerShell) or fintech experience is a bonus.
• A proactive mindset. You think through problems, not just log them.

Responsibilities

• Resolve application issues for end users across the fintech platform.
• Support a Windows environment across a hybrid AWS and Azure setup.
• Monitor the bespoke platform using Datadog, SaaS tools and Snowflake.
• Use SQL to triage incidents and identify root causes.
• Lead major incidents, build resolution plans, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Handle laptops, walk-ups, asset management and meeting room AV.
• Run Microsoft onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Use AI tools to automate processes and improve workflows.
