Job summary

Mosh is seeking a Financial Controller to be the operational backbone of the finance function. Reporting to the CFO, this role is ideal for a first-time FC or someone with a few years’ experience ready to scale with a fast-paced health-tech scale-up.

You will own financial control and reporting across AU, NZ and SE Asia, oversee month-end close, consolidation, tax compliance and budgeting, and lead an offshore bookkeeping team as we grow.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with 4+ years post-qualification experience as Financial Controller.
• Proven experience owning month-end close and statutory reporting end-to-end.
• Comfort preparing detailed financial schedules and analysis for board/investor reporting.
• People leadership experience, including remote/offshore teams.
• Strong Excel/systems skills and experience with cloud accounting platforms (e.g. Xero, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Own financial control and reporting across AU, NZ and SE Asia entities
• Run end-to-end month-end/year-end close and prepare AASB-compliant financial statements
• Manage group consolidation, balance sheet integrity and audit-ready records
• Oversee tax compliance across jurisdictions with external advisors
• Own cash management, rolling forecasts and banking operations across APAC
• Manage inter-company cash movements and monitor FX exposure
• Build and maintain the Group's financial risk and internal controls framework
• Support budgeting, forecasting and Board reporting (CFO presents, you build the detail)
• Own and improve finance systems and processes as we scale
• Manage and mentor the offshore bookkeeping team
