MIRAIT Technologies Australia seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead the financial control function with clear commercial insight across the business. Reporting to the CFO, this hands‑on leadership role covers reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, compliance and governance.

You will lead a three‑person finance team, partner with senior and operational leaders, and engage with international stakeholders to strengthen reporting, controls and decision‑making.

Formación

• CA/ CPA or equivalent recognised professional qualification.
• Strong experience across financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and statutory compliance.
• Sound knowledge of Australian accounting, taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing a finance team.
• The ability to work effectively with senior leaders, operational teams and international stakeholders.
• Strong financial analysis skills and the judgement to translate financial information into practical commercial advice.
• Strong systems capability, including advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• An improvement-focused approach and experience strengthening financial systems, processes or reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Managing monthly and annual financial reporting and consolidation, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
• Ensuring reporting meets divisional requirements and Australian Accounting Standards.
• Leading the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes in partnership with senior leaders.
• Managing cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, transactions and approvals.
• Ensuring funding supports operational and capital requirements.
• Providing clear analysis of financial performance, trends and risks to support executive and board‑level decision‑making.
• Managing group taxation and regulatory obligations in consultation with external advisers.
• Maintaining an effective internal control, governance and internal audit framework.
• Identifying and delivering improvements across finance systems, reporting and processes.
• Supporting greater efficiency and automation across the finance function.
• Leading, coaching and developing the finance team while promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
