Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll help keep invoices, payments, receipts and reconciliations accurate and up to date.

What You’ll Do
What We’re Looking For
Why Join Us?
This is a rare chance to join a new NRL club and help build strong finance foundations from the beginning. You’ll have variety, ownership of your day‑to‑day work and the opportunity to improve how things are done as the Perth Bears grow.
You’ll work with an ambitious and collaborative team, contribute to a once‑in‑a‑generation sporting project and play a practical part in shaping the future of rugby league in Western Australia.
Working in a Start‑Up Environment
The Perth Bears are a start‑up organisation, so our finance systems and processes are still evolving. Some tasks are currently managed through simple systems such as Xero, and these will develop as the club grows and moves towards a more complete ERP system.
You’ll need to be comfortable working in a practical, hands‑on way, adapting to change and helping improve processes over time. You won’t be expected to have every answer, but you should be willing to ask questions, solve problems and learn new systems.
This role will suit someone who is flexible, reliable and happy to balance daily transaction processing with small process improvements.
This role is based in Perth, Western Australia and remote working opportunities are not available.
The Perth Bears are an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people with disability.
Only applications submitted through the advertised channels will be considered. Not open to recruitment agencies.
