Highbury Executive partners with a fast-growing, private equity-backed technology business to appoint a hands-on Finance Manager. You will own the finance function, lead a small team, and work closely with the CFO as the company scales, gaining exposure to budgeting, forecasting and PE reporting.

Formación

• CA or CPA qualification required.
• 3-5 years' relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Experience managing or mentoring a small finance team.
• Experience with Power BI and reporting automation is highly regarded.
• Private equity reporting exposure is advantageous but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the month-end close, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and balance sheet reviews, delivering accurate and timely management reporting to senior leadership and the PE sponsor.
• Manage, coach and develop the finance team across accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll, ensuring strong financial controls and efficient operations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, providing variance analysis and commercial insights on revenue, margins and performance for senior management, the board and investors.
• Coordinate half-year reviews and year-end audits, including statutory accounts, audit schedules and auditor queries.
• Oversee tax compliance, including BAS/GST, PAYG, payroll tax, income tax and R&D tax incentive claims, working with external advisers to ensure accurate, timely lodgements.
• Drive improvements across finance systems, reporting processes and internal controls to support business growth, acquisitions and system implementations.
