Job summary

SRG Hospitality is a growing Sydney restaurant group seeking a senior finance leader to run group finance day to day, lead a multi-site team, and step in when the Group Financial Controller is away.

You will own the close for all entities, manage a rolling cash-flow forecast, and drive AI-enabled finance workflows across Sydney and the Philippines. You’ll influence venue operations through monthly reviews and build a scalable finance function.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with 5+ years in senior finance and full month-end close ownership.
• Experience consolidating multi-entity and intercompany across separate legal entities.
• Hospitality or multi-site business with daily trade and weekly payroll experience.
• Experience leading offshore team members and integrating them into the team.
• Sydney-based and comfortable visiting venues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close for all entities and consolidate reports.
• Own rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast for funding decisions.
• Lead accountants, bookkeepers and payroll specialists in Sydney and the Philippines.
• Present monthly financial reviews to Operations Managers to influence venue decisions.
• Act as Director of Finance in the Group Financial Controller’s absence.

Job description

Our last Finance Manager is now our Group Financial Controller.

That's the path this role is built on. We need the person who comes next — someone who can run group finance day to day, lead their own team, and run the whole function when the Group Financial Controller is away.

This isn't a close-and-report job. Behind Aqua Dining, Sails Lavender Bay, The Nielsen, Ripples and Riva Rose Bay sits a multi-entity group with daily cash and card takings, weekly payroll and a stocktake every month. You'll own the machinery that makes sense of it — and you'll have the authority to change how it runs.

You'll be

• CA or CPA qualified, with 5+ years in senior finance including ownership of a full month-end close

• From hospitality or another multi-site business with daily trade and weekly payroll
• The owner of a rolling cash-flow forecast in your current or most recent role
• Someone who has led offshore team members and made them part of the team
• Sydney-based and comfortable spending time in our venues

Bonus points for 2IC experience, F&B stocktake and cost-of-goods work, hospitality award interpretation, and hands-on use of AI in finance.
